OGDEN, Utah - A police dog that was left in a pickup with the engine running apparently knocked the vehicle into gear and ran down a woman who was walking to her mailbox.

And, turns out, it really was a police dog. As in police. Left in a police truck while it's police handler went into a house to respond to a domestic disturbance call. With the motor running. The truck's motor, not the cop's. That is.
Or maybe the gear shift was faulty, say the cops.
