Way too much kissing to ever make our list despite a 100 on the Tomatometer, Don't Bother to Knock is a still movie absolutely worth a watch. Made in 1952, it stars Marilyn Monroe in a serious dramatic role, Ann Bancroft long before she became Mrs. Robinson, and Richard Widmark, and is filmed in black and white and very, very noir. If you get tired of hamburgers and fireworks this weekend, look this one up.
