Monument

This Spanish War monument stands in front of our library which, of course, is closed. Normally this weekend would feature a parade of sorts, the high school band and an assortment of Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Little Leagers, which would stop here (and at a couple of other sites on its short route) to lay a wreath and play taps. But the parade is canceled too.

It is, however, a nice, warm, sunny weekend, so hello, Summer.

I keep a pad of (gasp) paper…

…here next to my iPad and use it to list random notes that seem important at the time yet not worth committing to digital permanence. Right now for example, the list reads:

Turmoil
Beans
