When music was music

Bei Mir Bist Du Schein, by the Andrews Sisters.

It's YouTube, so expect a commercial at the top, but you can skip it.

Just popped into my head this morning. Don't know why. Not sure I want to.

(Or, if you want to hear it again the way it survived.)

Just took a couple of sunny days…

…of which today is not likely to be one.

The only thing I wanted to know…

This ancient snake in India might have been longer than a school bus and weighed a ton

…about this AP story — and I really wanted to know it — is in the very last sentence:

Good news is where you find it

White House admits Biden uncle wasn’t eaten by cannibals, died in Pacific Ocean crash

This story is from the New York Post, which is, I believe, the oldest continually published newspaper in the U.S. ( it was founded by Alexander Hamilton) but, ahem, not always, shall we say, the most moderate voice in the crowd. Still, not having been eaten is probably preferable to being just, you know. dead. At least that's what the Post seems to believe.
