Even I, a person long known to be on the leading edge of fashion…
…(OK, settle down now)…am amazed the magazine, GQ, has a watch columnist.
"GQ’s new watch columnist…is here to give you a glimpse into the world of watches."
Me, I'm not planning to retire my Timex any time soon.Meanwhile, speaking of fashion
If Parris Island closes, local barbers lose 'high-and-tight' business, and it would be 'devastating'
According to the U.S. Department of Defense, 2,200 Marine Corps and Navy personnel are assigned to Parris Island.
That means 2,200 heads that need to be shaved, cut, combed and styled to meet the stringent standards of the Marine Corps.

So much for fill-'er-up and go
Carmakers compete to keep you entertained
"You can play music straight from your Spotify account and when we have been charging the car on our journeys we have been watching Netflix and YouTube through the apps which come with the vehicle," he says.

AT&T kills DSL, leaves tens of millions of homes without fiber Internet
AT&T has deployed fiber-to-the-home Internet to less than 30 percent of the households in its 21-state territory, according to a new report that says AT&T has targeted wealthy, non-rural areas in its fiber upgrades.
"Of all the bags that come through this store…
…I like this one best"…not exactly Bogart, but seeing the brilliantly perceptive young woman at the checkout counter this morning was talking about my bag, the canvas newspaper-style bag I use to carry groceries home, it was good enough for me.

I'm getting so paranoid I'm fact-checking Siri
Siri just told me the median age of the U.S. population is 37.7; the Census Bureau says 38.2. The reason I asked was, I was reading Twitter.
I'm willing to bet the median age on Twitter is a lot lower.
