US sending 3K troops for partial Afghan embassy evacuation

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said one Army and two Marine infantry battalions will enter Afghanistan within the next two days to assist at the Kabul airport with the partial embassy evacuation.

Hey, send what you need, but 3K sure looks like you need quite a bit. And it's not entirely clear why stopping at "partial" is a good idea.

If this weren't so infuriating it'd be downright funny. For example, this:

A Reddit user commented on a thread about falsifying COVID-19 vaccination cards, saying, in part, “I need one, too, for college. I refuse to be a guinea pig.”

If this guinea pig gets to college maybe he will learn what a control group is.
