The chairman of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority, one Matt Amorello, promises a "probe." The Governor, one Mitt Romney, suggests Matt would make an excellent probee. No one explains why guys named Matt and Mitt should be in charge of anything. The contractor, not named Matt or Mitt, expresses confidence in the quality of his work but is checking 17 similar tunnel sections anyway, just to be sure, you understand, not that there's anything to worry about. not that you should hesitate, Bunky, to get down in the tunnel and drive around, what the hell, you only live once. Not that we are saying you'll get as far as Logan while you do.

yeah, I thought so too. of course, maybe they're just trying to pretend they live somewhere else.
