A novel about Wall Street and hanky-panky, Upton Sinclair's The Moneychangers was published in 1908 but could have been written last week. Sinclair, you will recall, also wrote The Jungle and Oil, both books that have appeared on our reading list in the past, and a lot of other books, most of them available free at Gutenberg.org.
