It's 96 degrees here. The heat index is 106. I don't believe in a heat index any more than I believe in wind chill—look, hot is hot, cold is cold, there's really no need to pile on. Ninety-six is hot. Ninety-six point three.
Today is the hot one, and tonight will be warm. Tomorrow the high temps will start creeping downward, slowly at first, but the nighttime temps will drop quite a bit and things will begin to cool off.
As you know, July is the warmest month, so just a little bit longer now and everything will be, well, cool.
