The Raw Story | Anti-terror fish guard San Francisco's water:
San Francisco- San Francisco authorities have drafted 12 bluegill fish to help protect the city's water supply from terror threats, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Tuesday. The fish live in a tank at a water treatment plant where a computer monitoring system detects if they are upset by any foreign substances in the water.
Although, if you have a taste for adventure, "anti-terror fish" is a pretty cool title to have. Sounds a lot more impressive than "canary."

hey, i "read" crusader's cross, about a year ago, back when i was doing time in the library. i just got the new one, but i haven't begun it yet. still working on cloud atlas.
(well, you have no place to comment on the book things...)
I don't. maybe I should. I liked Crusader's Cross. And FYI I liked the reader better than that other guy, although that East Texas accent does, for some strange reason, grate.
which reader was this one? i like the old guy rather than the hollywood guy, which was this? i think the hollywood guy is doing all the newer ones.
cloud atlas, where i've just turned the corner to go back down, is boring me. i think i'll start pegasus, since i'm home sniffing.
Not the old guy (I didn't like the old guy much, myself). Will Patton. I don't know if he's the Hollywood guy or not (Hollywood guy?). He sounds like Dubya, but he uses real words.
yeah, he's a hollywood guy. sounds like an actor, which he is, he's a hollywood guy. i like a reader better.
