The cost of the cotton, never mind the plastic, must be enormous

I just opened a big bottle of asprin, the kind we used to call baby asprin but now call geezer pills, and inside I found a giant wad of cotton with a little puddle of pills beneath. We’re talking a year’s worth of tablets in a century-sized jug.

Hey, maybe it’s just me.

This, in today's Hints From Heloise (The Columbian):

Dear Heloise: Those cotton fillers from prescription bottles are great for wiping the lint and smears from eyeglasses.

You're welcome.

I’m going to need a lot more asprin.
