With all the stuff going on this past weekend—Super Bowl! Republicans! Climate change!—I completely forgot the ice sculpture contest, part of out this-year not-so-very Winter Carnival here. What's left of the sculptures this morning is somewhat, well, abstract. But a few of them still resemble whatever it is that they were.
