Clinton dropped Obama’s name 21 times in last night’s Democratic debate, to Sanders’ nine. One word that was not mentioned in the debate—not once—is “encryption.” This despite encryption being a hot topic these days in the U.S. Congress and state legislatures, not to mention the EU and elsewhere, and in the environs of the FBI, Homeland Security, various other police agencies and Republicans debates.
