By accident. Those are iPhone pictures, the ones with the bluish shadows, and that just seems to be the way the iPhone camera handles low light. The pictures are all taken well after sunrise - say seven-ish - but the sun is still quite low so the shadows are pretty pronounced. On one picture I tweaked the color temp a bit but that was to bring the foreground out - the bluish shadow stayed about the same.
