A recent newsletter from the Washington Post concerning a bill now in Congress…a bill designed to help better distribute renewable energy around the country…refers to one Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) as a climate advocate, which is…I'm just assuming here…a person who is somehow in favor of climate.
And Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) as a climate hawk, which is…I'm just assuming here, too, from the context…something like a climate a advocate but birdier.
How have we come to say such silly stuff?
