Last night was the first time since I started using it at the beginning of last winter my favorite snow-forecasting app has been wrong by more than an inch or two. It said five inches, we got 0. Nada. Zip. The snow blew south of us and east, along the coast. I haven’t seen the Boston numbers yet but New York City got about a foot.
We did get single-digit temps for today though (and maybe quite a bit longer), so winter it still seems to be—in recognition of which, here are some nifty photos from the NYTimes of a snowball fight that happened in Times Square five years ago. Duck.
