After nearly a quarter of a century – through the roaring 90s, past Y2K, into the languorous new millennium, beyond the greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression and right on through to today’s so-called recovery – we are right back where we were when the B-52s’ “Love Shack” was beaming from car radios across the land.
(No word about 1989 prices either.)
