The Miss Universe Organisation said yesterday that it was evaluating Miss Conner’s “behavioural and personal issues” after media reports that she had been drinking her way around a string of trendy New York bars and bedhopping her way across the city.
Not that there's anything new about that. But there are "moral rules," says spokesbimbo Lark-Marie Anton, which I only mention because Lark-Marie is such an excellent spokesbimbo name. Otherwise, come to think of it, there wouldn't be much reason for mentioning any of this, would there?

Could this Lark-Marie Anton be the former spokesbimbo for New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg? (photo and sketch of career available at http://www.marist.edu/magazine/f03/page32.html)
Obviously, any "Lark-Marie" should be speaking for the Miss Universe Organization rather than some mere Mayor.
Wow! How many Lark-Maries can there be?
"It's a challenge every day," says Lark, who earned her undergraduate degree with a double major in communications and Spanish and a minor in psychology. "You have to be ahead of the ball. If not, you will get run over by it."
Yeah. Only one, I think.
It's so funny that you all find humor in such a professional and intelligent spokeswoman, who is both a minority and a successful woman in a very demanding career. Plus, may I add that "Lark-Marie" is a beautiful and unique name. May I ask the name of the "anonymous" person---hmm, I wonder...is it among these common names: Michael, John, Samantha, Kimberly, or shall I go on? Or, have I forgotten the WASPY feel of names such as Jeremy, Tracy, and Matthew?
Please don't be ignorant and post such slanderous and silly comments when this person is obviously much more successful, powerful, and mature than you will ever be. Don't bring others down just because you're incompetent yourself.
And this is especially humorous: if you want to bring other people down by calling them "bimbos," then make sure you indeed aren't one and can actually SPELL, because "organisation" is not correct. Why don't you instead read, learn, and make use of your time: "The Miss Universe OrganiZation" is spelled WITH A "Z." Happy Holidays!
It's not in England, whence the story comes. If one is competent to look it up.
