Ocean activism is not swimming

"For many marine biologists and ocean activists, the washed-up whale serves as a stark warning to the federal government to do more to regulate the fishing industry and get dangerous ropes out of the water." (From a story in The Washington Post. It must mean something else.)

And it's pretty hard to deny climate if you're living right in the middle of one.

Words, words.

And Presidents Day.

About the first President, George Washington:
"Congress voted during his first two terms to take a short commemorative break each year, with one exception, his last birthday in office, Coe said. By then Washington was less popular, partisanship was rampant and many members of his original Cabinet were gone, including Thomas Jefferson."
And name one person who's a fan of Franklin Pierce.
