Discord’s new content moderation tool will automatically block words and phrases
In an effort to help its own moderators out, Discord has developed a new automated content moderation [sic] tool.
Orwell saw this coming in 1984:
“‘Don’t you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make thoughtcrime literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it.’”
