…I don't drive. So the price of gasoline is not something I am required to obsess about.
But for the record, here are gasoline prices around the world.
In the U.S., the average price is $4.33/gallon.
So Europeans pay more—sometimes substantially more—than U.S. drivers, while some South Americans, Asians, and Middle Easterners pay significantly less.
Price differentials aside, Washington's frantic attempts to reduce U.S. gasoline prices seems to conflict with the present doctrine that Saving The Planet requires burning much, much less fossil fuel. Like, none.
Could it possibly be they have some hidden agenda, those politicians?
