At the VA medical center for Western Massachusetts today around noon I was told that one facility had administered 7,700 doses of COVID vaccine since it first became available, with nearly 1,000 more scheduled for the balance of today and tomorrow.
The VA has 170 such medical centers within the U.S., and more than 1,000 smaller satellite locations. I don’t know if they’re all on the same schedule but any way you count it could add up to a whole lot of jabs.
