In the Berkshires just west of us they've had more than a foot of snow so far today; to the east, along the coast, they're having high winds and disaster-level flooding. Here in our pleasant valley it's been windy and raining all day, and maybe a little snow tonight.
It's all about a big nor'easter amplified by full-moon high tides and it's not expected to blow itself out for another day or so. We're already looking forward to the "out like a lamb" end of March.
