Come to think of it, didn't see these much even then, which is the problem, I guess. It's a Ford Thunderbird from the mid-50s, before the T-bird became a bloatmobile. The sweet ragtop two-seater packs a V-8 engine. Frank Sinatra drove one in the movie, "Pal Joey," which, if you haven't seen it you should and if you have you should again.

Er, actually this is a pic of an eleventh generation T-Bird, manufactured in the early 2000's. Ford was trying to evoke the memory of the old style. Here's a link to a pic of a 1955 Bird:

Ah yes. Thanks. Pretty good evoking, but I see the difference. So it's not as cool as I thought it was but it's still pretty cool.
