Why indeed? I joined Twitter once before and lost interest almost instantly. Maybe things have changed. Anyway it makes me crazy, reading about twit-this an twit-that. I don't see what Twitter has that txt, email, IM, Facetime, Google and Yahoo and just about everybody else on the planet has too, and often has better. Oh, as the saying goes, well.
Anyway, just don't tell me blah blah Arab Spring. I remember following the Russian revolution in a chat room. OK, not the Russian revolution, just one of them. They've had so many I've lost count. But still. Brave new world, we all thought. Until the next time, when it was IM.
