The LI, I mean. (Are they called digits? Places? Just plain old letters?) Whatever—at least it's better than XXVVIVCXXVI, which is positively indecipherable. Sure, I don't know what LI means either, but at least it saves ink.

Maybe next year we should call it LI.2 and be done with it.
