Dude, I had such a horrifying, soul crunching, comfort food shortage here last night I had to run out today and buy a box of mac & cheese just to feel safe again. Do not let this happen to you.
Also, keeping a bag of dried peas handy is a wise precaution, because pea soup is easy and always good.
